The Department of Art History and Archaeology offers programs of instruction in the history, theory, and criticism of art and archaeology. These programs are intended to prepare students for careers in scholarship and teaching and in curatorial work and museum administration, as well as for independent research and critical writing. The department offers one of the richest graduate programs in the discipline, and students are encouraged to take advantage of its variety of subjects and approaches.

The Department of English and Comparative Literature has played a significant role in the history of literary study in the United States and abroad since its inception. With a large faculty of renowned scholars and dedicated teachers, the department offers a wide range of courses in traditional and emerging fields of literary and cultural study.

The program helps practicing planners advance in their careers and provides entry to the profession for students from a wide range of academic disciplines and work experiences. Coursework takes advantage of the rich research and practice opportunities available in Southern California. The program is further distinguished by the following characteristics.

Trinity's M.A. Missional Leadership is designed to equip the student with both a theological and practical framework for leadership and ministry in a complex cultural context through leadership development, organizational development and strategic planning. Critical evaluation of ethical issues in contemporary society rounds out a program that equips the student to navigate the demands of a globalized world while maintaining a relevant demonstration of the mission of Christ.

The degree is designed to prepare students for further graduate study or for general educational purposes. This 36-hour degree can be completed entirely online or through international cohorts, in which the student will complete the majority of credits online or take select on-site hybrid or 1-week intensive courses.

To prepare students to serve as a teacher, researcher, and/or writer in various fields of theological studies, such as Theology, Church History, Christian Ethics, and Islamic Studies.

An intensive exploration of the current state of research and theory as applied to human development across the lifespan. Although this course outlines the latest findings on developmental changes that occur from birth to eighteen, strongest emphasis will be placed upon adult development and changes that are a product of the aging processes. Developmental issues germane to counseling and the helping professions will be emphasized, along with in-depth discussions of developmental research from primary source material.

This pathway is for mathematics educators who already possess an initial teaching license in 9-12 mathematics and are interested in pursuing advanced licensure in the area. Individuals who complete this program will earn 18 hours of mathematics content which would prepare graduates to teach in higher education. Courses are offered in both face-to-face and online settings. The Mathematics Education (9-12), M.A. program requires 18 credit hours of mathematics content and 18 hours of mathematics pedagogy, for a total of 36 credit hours.
