How we calculate our rankings
Step 1: We got the top reasons for studying abroad from our own international student survey* that reached 27,400 prospective students representing 195+ countries. This determined 5 factors to rank the countries:

- Culture and lifestyle
- Personal development
- Adventure
Step 2: We gathered all the relevant external sources**, such as QS University Rankings for Life Sciences and Medicine and the Quality of Life Index, and calculated each country's score for every factor.
Step 3: We weighted the factors and combined them to create the final list of the top 10 countries!
