Recipe for a successful interview💻
Here are some key insider tips to help:
- Dress professionally, there's no need to go overboard but something like a button-up shirt can go a long way. Also try to be in a well lit and clean environment.
- Pay attention. Actively listening to the interviewer and responding their questions accordingly is really important.
- Communicate clearly and make sure to take the time to articulate your words well. Don't rush answering questions, it's not a race!
- Be prepared. Remember the answers you put down on your application form. Also, it's a good idea to have a notepad and glass of water beside you during the interview.
- Be confident and friendly. Interviews are always scarier in your mind than they are in person. Stay focused, relax your shoulders and answer each question as best you can.

Things to keep in mind
After speaking with the ones reviewing scholarship applications, it was made clear that these were the most important things to remember when applying.
- Check your inbox, in the past there have been finalists who didn’t check their inbox and missed out on the scholarship. So, make sure to check it!
- Don’t send anything to our email, to apply, you must do it through our application form, otherwise we won’t be able to accept it.
- Double-check deadlines, ensure that everything is submitted before deadlines because there is a hard cutoff for applicants after that point.
- Already having an acceptance letter from your chosen university will boost your chances of winning.
