The Psychology Department offers the degree Master of Arts in Psychology major in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. This program aims to prepare professionals to use their knowledge in the basic science of psychology in their work, whether in industry, school, government, community agencies, or the clinical setting.

The Master of Arts in Education Major in Educational Leadership program major seeks to develop principal-leaders and teacher-leaders. It is meant primarily for educators who are occupying or who are being prepared for leadership and key academic and administrative positions in their schools, especially those in basic education.

The program seeks to form early childhood educators and specialists (preschool and primary school teachers and administrators, child development consultants, and researchers) who can effectively blend theory and practice in creating positive learning opportunities and experiences for young children to promote their total development.

Students majoring in Creative Writing may choose to submit creative work (poems or stories; a play or a novel) as their thesis. A substantial critical introduction to such a thesis is generally required.

The Master of Arts in Educational Management (MAED) program has a strong problem solving, evaluation, and decision-making perspective, which situates educational management in the context of existing political, economic, and social realities. Each course in the program provides the students with opportunities to engage in reflection and critical analysis of an expansive body of conceptual and empirical literature that informs and guides management practices.
