Each of these students joined our events with ambition and left with prizes to help launch their international education.

Marharyta Khaustova from Ukraine
Marharyta attendedn Global Connect: Behind the Admissions Curtain 2025, and left the event with an English proficiency test, and valuable insights to support their goal of studying abroad.
With a passion for medicine, Marharyta is preparing to pursue a degree in the field and the event supported her in gaining clarity on the educational system and key steps needed for international studies.

Shaima Alshaeb from Jordan to Hungary
Shaima joined us at the Global Connect: Behind the Admissions Curtain, 2025 event and walked away with a Flight Gift Voucher, plus even more determination to reach her academic goals.
The event gave me valuable insight into the challenges others faced and how to avoid similar mistakes. It inspired me to approach my own journey with greater awareness and resilience.
Currently in her third year of medical school at the University of Pécs in Hungary, Shaima is also pursuing a master's in physical therapy. With experience in rehabilitation and special education, she's drive to bridge the medicine with rehabilitative sciences and help develop highly skilled physical therapy professionals.
Her advice to other students?
With effort and perseverance, the impossible becomes possible. I faced more than 20 scholarship rejections, but I stayed committed and kept pursuing my goals.

Meet Zainani Nur Antika from Indonesia
Zainani joined us at the Global Connect-Study in the US, 2025 event and walked away with a Gift voucher, and a whole lot of motivation to pursue her dream of studying abroad.
"Attending the event boosted my motivation to study abroad, and helped me improve my English too!"
With a degree in applied agriculture and a passion for public speaking (yes, she actually enjoys being in front of the camera!), Zainani is now aiming to continue her studies in agriculture and become a researcher in the field. Along the way, she hopes to inspire others to keep chasing their dreams too.

Meet Jose Sebastian Tuwanakotta from Indonesia
Jose is a second-year Visual Communication Design student at Telkom University in Bandung, Indonesia and a winner of an English proficiency test from our Global Connect: Study & Work Globally event on April 24th, 2025!
"The event was truly eye-opening. I've never studied abroad before, so hearing experiences from international and getting direct help towards my IELTS test brought me one step closer to that goal.
With a perfect GPA in his first year and skills ranging from digital illustration to editorial layout, Jose is passionate about using design not just to create beautiful visuals, but to communicate meaning across cultures. His long-time dream? To study design abroad and learn how creativity works in different parts of the world.
Jose's advice to others dreaming of studying abroad:
"It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be started. Google, research, prepare. Then go for it!"

Introducing Lutfiah Rahmasari from Indonesia
Lutfiah attended the Global Connect - Study in the US 2025 event, and walked away not just with valuable insights, but even more motivation to pursue her academic goals and an English proficiency test.
"The event helped me understand what steps and documents I need to prepare. The downloadable files were really useful."
A chemical engineering graduate, Lutfiah is now preparing to pursue a master's in the same field, with a focus on membrane separation processes, combining her passion for fluid mechanics with a strong sense of environmental responsibility.
"With rapid growth in manufacturing, we need to take environmentally responsible action. I want to develop eco-friendly materials to reduce industrial and domestic waste."
Beyond her academic goals, Lutfiah is actively engaged in sustainability initiatives, she volunteer with her city's environmental department and is currently participating in a sustainability academy within the ASEAN community.
"Collaborating in the right fields now will help us give our best abroad, where research is more diverse and accessible."
