Who is responsible for educations.com

Keystone Education Group is responsible for this website. Our aim is to make educations.com usable and accessible for as many people as possible. We're committed to complying with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and are actively working on improvements following a third-party accessibility audit.

Known accessibility issues

The audit identified multiple areas where the platform does not meet accessibility standards. These include:

• Missing or unclear alt text (1.1.1)
• Improper heading structure (1.3.1, 2.4.6)
• Low color contrast in text and interface elements (1.4.3)
• Buttons and links not coded semantically or without names (4.1.2)
• Lack of visible focus indicators (2.4.7)
• Inaccessible keyboard navigation and missing skip links (2.1.1, 2.4.1)
• Modals and dialog boxes with broken or missing focus management (2.4.3, 2.4.11)
• Error messages not announced to screen readers (3.3.1, 4.1.3)
• Forms with missing or unclear labels (3.3.2)
• Hover-based content that isn’t accessible to keyboard or screen reader users (1.4.13)
• Pages not reflowing correctly at 400% zoom (1.4.10)

Planned improvements

We are currently working on the following improvements:

• Solve 80% of the audit issues on educations.com by June 30
• Create and share accessibility guidelines across Keystone
• Run accessibility workshops with designers, developers, and editors
• Define a plan for adopting a new UI library and MUI implementation with accessibility in mind
