Who is responsible for educations.com

Keystone Education Group is responsible for this website. Our aim is to make educations.com usable and accessible for as many people as possible. We're committed to complying with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and are actively working on improvements following a third-party accessibility audit.

Key improvements

Content and structure

New editorial guidelines have been introduced for images and article layouts. All new content includes descriptive alternative text and follows a structured heading hierarchy.

Contrast and readability

Colour contrast has been improved across most key page types.

Keyboard accessibility and navigation

Visible focus indicators have been implemented, and most interactive elements are now correctly coded using semantic HTML.

Responsive behaviour and zoom

Layouts perform better across devices and at increased text sizes.

Internal processes

Accessibility guidelines have been embedded internally, and workshops have been conducted for designers, developers and editors.

While significant progress has been made, educations.com is still considered partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Remaining issues are primarily related to legacy components and flows that have not yet migrated to the new component library.

Known accessibility issues

Although many issues have been resolved or improved during 2025, the following categories remain relevant in whole or in part on certain pages:

• Missing or unclear alternative text (1.1.1)
• Lack of visible focus indicators on certain legacy components (2.4.7)
• Dark mode is not yet supported across the platform
• Missing or inconsistent skip links (2.1.1, 2.4.1)
• Modals and dialog boxes with incomplete focus management (2.4.3, 2.4.11)
• Error messages not announced to screen readers (3.3.1, 4.1.3)
• Forms with missing or unclear labels (3.3.2)
• Hover-based content not accessible to keyboard or screen reader users (1.4.13)
• Pages that do not reflow correctly at 400% zoom (1.4.10)

These issues are being addressed through continued component migration and platform improvements during 2026.

Planned improvements

We are currently working on the following improvements:

• Complete migration to the accessible component library across the full platform
• Address remaining known accessibility issues
• Improve accessibility within student and customer login flows
