The Master of Arts in International Studies (MAIS) is a two-year programme (120 ECTS) in English, which promotes interdisciplinary learning in a global context. Our MA programme equips students with critical analytical skills to address contemporary global issues. Focusing on some of the most relevant contemporary challenges such as climate change, energy transition, human rights, and military and technological competition, our program blends diverse disciplinary insights, including international relations, history, political theory, international law, and macroeconomics. Our students are also expected to acquire an excellent command of a second foreign language: French, German, Russian, or Spanish. The option of a third foreign language (Arabic or Chinese) is also available. Our graduates are trained to successfully pursue a career in diplomacy, international organizations, multinational corporations, and NGOs.
