The Film and Sound Design program offers an occupational degree that immerses college students in the world and industry of film and sound design. IPR’s condensed program allows students to earn a multi-skill, multi-functional Occupational Associate of Applied Science Degree in as little as two years. Film and sound design program students learn hands-on, entry-level skills in every aspect of the film business: recording, post-production, and design. The AAS program in Fashion Marketing and Communication (formerly called Fashion Marketing) is an intensive, flexible program in which you can explore fashion careers and focus on your interests. Taught by working professionals, the curriculum reflects the industry’s evolving trends and demands.

The Interactive Multimedia specialization prepares students for the design and development of multimedia programs and websites that combine a variety of audiovisual elements including text, graphics, audio, animation and video. The Interactive Multimedia specialization emphasizes the more popular multimedia development tools and programming languages used in industry today.

The General Business concentration provides students with an opportunity to develop communication, interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills and a solid understanding of the contemporary business environment. Major requirements provide a strong foundation in business, and the program allows for flexibility in the elective offerings.

The Communication Design program will assist you in developing the creative, conceptual, and technical skills necessary to meet the challenge of digital, print, and social media marketplaces and will offer the opportunity to gain employment in the field or to transfer to a four-year institution. You'll be prepared to work within the social networking world of Twitter and Facebook; you'll know how to launch ideas and apps through smartphones and tablets. The program offers students an opportunity to select a 'specialized track' in their second year of studies - either Print/Web or New Media.

The Associate in Science (AS) in Digital Arts and Multimedia Production Program provides a pathway to the skills and training for professional work in the expanding digital content creation industry.

Film is a universally recognized medium that has a profound impact on how we view the world and ourselves. Filmmaking is the most collaborative of art forms. It demands the cooperation and dedication of screenwriter, cinematographer, producer, director and editor working together in a complex, creative enterprise. Film and Television explores the theory, criticism and production of motion pictures. The Film and Television Department at Santa Barbara City College offers a wide variety of courses designed for film majors and interested non-majors who wish to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of film as part of their undergraduate education. Students are exposed to a vast array of films from the classic to the contemporary, including both American and international works.

The Community Interpretation program provides students with a foundation in the skills of Spanish-English translation and interpretation. Students train intensively in the three modes of interpreting: simultaneous, consecutive, and sight translation.

Daytona State College sponsors a full-time radiography program. Radiography, AS program completion leads to an Associate of Science Degree in Radiography. Program graduates are eligible for national certification/registration in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and appropriate state licensure.
