An overview of the processes and strategies for forecasting fashion trends is provided in this course. The student will be able to gain a better understanding of the dynamic nature of the modern fashion industry as well as learn and deepen some elements related to the culture of the sector. Students will have the opportunity to practice working with industry-relevant techniques. With its working method, the course provides a concrete first understanding of design tools and processes.

The Summer Course in Trends Investigation from Coolhunting to Fashion Forecasting will give students a holistic knowledge of how to research trends that will inspire and inform using the best practices and study and applied tools.

In this course, students learn how to communicate clearly and persuasively. Course objectives include learning how to inspire action through compelling, high-impact communications by taking a point of view and supporting it with logic and evidence, generating insights with meaningful conclusions and recommendations, and understanding and applying the principles of logical reasoning to organize information and lead an audience to action.

Students at ISSOS who choose our journalism summer course will be taught to sharpen their research and writing skills and debate social, political and ethical issues. These skills have wide-ranging applications and will stand students in good stead during their education and beyond.

Adapted from our popular Communication and Culture Program for international university students and professionals, this summer youth program offers international high school students (ages 14-17) an enriching, transformational educational experience. Our academic expertise, professional instructors and beautiful California campus make this an exciting opportunity for students to grow beyond their expectations.

We introduce you to Summer School, Elisava's tailor-made specialisation programs for you: a series of design courses designed so that you can perfect your knowledge and improve your skills in a creative and cosmopolitan context.

PhD Summer School focuses on development of key competences required for achieving best results in successful defense of the doctoral dissertation and identifying further research directions. Therefore topics of our PhD Summer Schools include: management of scientific research data, writing of scientific articles, analysis of the subtleties of project management, research integrity and ethics, intellectual property and patent system, communication skills development, etc.

The one-week intensive Summer School explores strategies and methods for effective museum communication, with a focus on the content, design, and technology of labels and educational panels. The Summer School will be activated with at least 7 students. The maximum number of participants is set to 20 students.

Intensive exposure to some of the basic writing formats in the communications profession: news releases, letters, features, and profiles. Lead writing, editing, and techniques of interviewing. Extensive writing and rewriting. Develops basic writing skills for different audiences.

Discover your creative passion, build friendships, and find your place at Pratt in this immersive college-level program. Spend the summer on Pratt’s Brooklyn campus in intensive art, design, architecture, or creative writing courses, informed and inspired by the backdrop of New York City. During this four-week full-time program, students develop conceptual and technical skills; and create portfolio pieces for college admission, while earning elective college credits.

Through its courses and tutorials, the Writing Program helps undergraduates acquire writing and communication skills and more general habits of mind essential both to their full participation in the intellectual life of the University and to their future personal, professional, and civic lives.

Students learn to properly expose, develop, and print black and white 35mm film. Lectures introduce historical and contemporary photographic practices. Students have weekly assignments and should be prepared to develop their own ideas.

The Filmmaking summer program in English allows high school students to discover the different jobs in the audiovisual professions through hands on workshops covering topics such as : Screenwriting, cinematography, directing, editing, image postproduction, sound recording and post production. This 2 week summer program takes place twice in July.

Historical and contemporary as a broad genre including travel and nature writing, memoir, biography, journalism, and personal essay. Students use creative means to express factual content.

This course allows you to develop the essential skills and techniques in order to organize successful fashion events and develop communication plans.

The 2026 edition of the Summer School will focus on playwriting and the rewriting and adaptation of literary texts for theater and stage performance.

The Contemporary Photography and Visual Culture course provides you with the essential skills and a comprehensive understanding of key concepts in photography, graphic design, and visual communication.
