23 Education Foundation Year Programs

SUPERNOVA is a foundation programme designed for international students aged 17–25. It supports academic and language development and ensures progression to the first year of a degree at NOVA University, upon meeting the required criteria.

International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP) equips students from different countries with the skills and knowledge required for undergraduate courses at Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU). It offers an alternative path to further studies at HKSYU apart from mainstream public examinations such as GCE, A-Levels or International Baccalaureate (IB). In this programme, international students will improve their academic English Language proficiency and enhance their study skills and understanding of arts, social science, and business. Students who complete this programme and fulfil specific GPA and language requirements will be eligible for many undergraduate programmes from HKSYU.

The Foundation Program at SBS offers a new and exciting alternative route into studying for a full Bachelors Program at SBS. If you have non-standard qualifications or do not quite meet the entry requirements for our three-year Bachelor Program, then the Foundation Program is for you.

Having reached its fourth edition, the University for Foreigners of Siena has launched a one-year preparatory educational program named “Foundation Year” as recommended by the General Directorate for Higher Education Inclusion and Right to Study of the Italian Ministry for Universities and Research. Such a preparatory course aims at representing an ideal bridge in order to facilitate students with different educational backgrounds who wish to enroll in Italian Universities and Academies. The Foundation Year aims at offering students a solid preparation in Linguistics, Pedagogy, Philology and Literature, History, and Art Studies. Taking into consideration learners’ prospective studies, specific study programs based on macro-disciplinary contents might be additionally planned and implemented.

Foundation, the first year of our four-year degree program, is built on the philosophy that there are fundamental approaches, skills, and knowledge to be learned that are common to all creative disciplines. We encourage students to have a cross-disciplinary foundation attitude: to take risks, suspend disbelief and generally be open to new experiences and ways of looking at the world.

The Eynesbury College Foundation Studies Program (FSP) is an intensive program, preparing international students for entry into their first year of undergraduate study at The University of Adelaide or an Eynesbury Diploma.

Our Foundation Studies Programme provides a path to undergraduate-level study. Partnered with Victoria University of Wellington, UP Education has been delivering foundation programmes for over 20 years. All teachers are trained and registered with the Teachers Council of New Zealand.

The foundation programme is a pre-university qualification specially designed to prepare international students to enter a UK university. CATS Colleges offer a one-year (three-term) option starting in September and a two-term fast-track option starting in January.

The International University Foundation Programme (IUFP) is a one-year full-time pre-degree course, which offers students a fast-track alternative entry route to leading Universities for degree courses.

The Certificate of International Foundation Studies is a one-year, two-semester course validated by the University of Westminster and delivered at Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT). The Foundation is the first step into higher education. The aim of the course is to prepare the student for a successful study at honors’ degree level. The Certificate of International Foundation Studies is a University of Westminster award and recognized in the UK as an entrance qualification for all UK universities. As a UK university award, it is also recognized as an entry qualification for degree courses in many universities around the world. Students who successfully complete the Foundation studies will automatically qualify for progression onto one of the WIUT’s degree-level programs. They will also qualify for entry to the related courses at the University of Westminster in London, subject to application in the standard.
