Foundation, the first year of our four-year degree program, is built on the philosophy that there are fundamental approaches, skills, and knowledge to be learned that are common to all creative disciplines. We encourage students to have a cross-disciplinary foundation attitude: to take risks, suspend disbelief and generally be open to new experiences and ways of looking at the world.

The Foundation Program at SBS offers a new and exciting alternative route into studying for a full Bachelors Program at SBS. If you have non-standard qualifications or do not quite meet the entry requirements for our three-year Bachelor Program, then the Foundation Program is for you.

This program supports students in bridging the gap between upper-intermediate English proficiency and the academic standards required for success in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs at VIZJA University. With a focus on both advanced language development and academic readiness, the program ensures participants are well-prepared to begin their chosen studies with confidence.

The General Foundation Programme (GFP) aims to prepare CAS learners for academic and further education studies which can ultimately contribute to the ever changing local and national needs. Mission The General Foundation Programme (GFP) uses a learner centered approach to support students in developing their English language, mathematics, computing and general study skills and their capacity to be autonomous learners able to adapt to change.
