Designed for both UK/EU and international students, our BA (Hons) Education programme considers education in a wide context, not just within formal primary and secondary school settings, but also Further/Higher Education, social services, local and national government, and education within the community.

Along with our traditional programs of study, WKU also offers an International Pathway to Academic Success (IPAS). The International Pathway to Academic Success program is designed to facilitate international student success in several ways: exclusive courses designed for first-year international students, dedicated faculty with a commitment to international student learning, co-curricular support such as tutoring and academic workshops, and enrichment experiences to introduce students to life and study in the United States.

Swansea is the only University in the UK to offer the unique BA Honours English - Chinese Translation and Interpreting programme to students with a native or near-native command of Chinese Mandarin, plus a high level of competence in English as a foreign language.

International Year One General will prepare you to enter your next semester of a bachelor’s degree program at Suffolk University. Upon successful completion of International Year One and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of undergraduate study at Suffolk University. This transition from an INTO Suffolk program to a university degree program is called progression.
