The Foundation Year is a nine-month, full immersion preparatory course in Italian for international students willing to enroll in a BA taught in Italian at #UNIPAVIA. The Foundation Year is aimed at students who do not meet the minimum requirement – 12 years of schooling – to access the Italian higher education system.

Undergraduate degrees at the Bath School of Art, Film and Media and Bath School of Design are available as three-year or four-year programmes. The Foundation Year at Accademia del Lusso Milan is aimed at those who want to study a bachelor’s degree in Italy but who do not meet the minimum schooling requirement of 12 years. At the end of the foundation year, as long as you meet all of the entry requirements, you will be able to go on to study a bachelor’s degree at Accademia del Lusso or other receiving institutions.

The Foundation Course (FC) offered by the School of Economics and Management (SEM) is a one-year, multidisciplinary, pre-university course, fully taught in English. After completion, students acquire 60 Foundation Course Credits (FCC), computed on the basis of the equivalence 1 FCC 25 hours of total student commitment = 8 hours of classroom lessons + up to 1.6 hours of exercise classes.
