Would you like to get inside the criminal mind, to explore how and why crimes are committed, and find out how crimes are dealt with by the legal system? If you want to understand the principles and legal systems of the UK and other European states, but don’t wish to study for a qualifying law degree, then this course is ideal.
Covering two distinct areas of study, this joint Honours degree allows you to study the fundamental elements of each discipline together, enabling you to improve and broaden your knowledge base and employability.
You’ll have the opportunity to undertake work placements with organisations such as Victim Support, Citizens Advice Bureau, the Welsh Government, Women’s Aid, Detached Youth Service, and the police.
What you will study:
As a joint honours student, you will study a mix of criminology and law options throughout the course. Each year (worth 120 credits), you will be required to evenly split your module choices between the two disciplines.
