L’École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC) (French Civil Aviation University) is the largest aeronautical university in Europe and the only aviation-oriented university in France offering a wide and complete panel of aeronautics-oriented degree bearing programs and continuing & professional education programs, serving the aeronautical world, and particularly the air transport sector. ENAC in partnership with USTH opened the first Master of Science in International Air Transport Operation Management (IATOM) in Vietnam and in Southeast Asia. IATOM is a two year-degree accredited by the French Ministry of Education for those students who hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject. The courses are taught entirely in English to embed students in an international research and training environment. The students will study for 1 semester at the USTH campus and the next 2 semesters at the ENAC campus in Toulouse, France. In the final semester, the students will take an internship in Vietnam or any Asian/European country.

In response to the huge demand for human resources in finding technological solutions for drinking water and wastewater treatment as well as for climate change adaptation in Vietnam, the Master program “Water - Environment - Oceanography”, one of six priorities in the USTH training program, has been created since November 2009. Accompanying solid scientific training, the WEO master program will focus on studying the advanced technologies, which are currently unpopular or untaught in Vietnam, both in the field of water treatment (supply water, wastewater) and natural aquatic environments (modeling, remote sensing, and environmental engineering). Besides, with all the lessons are taught in English, the main objective of this program is to train future leaders in the field of water science, who are capable to work for industries, consulting firms, and government agencies (concerning water services, flood, and environmental disaster prevention, natural resources management, and land use.

The master in Space of USTH is an extensive program for future scientists who will participate in the next decades in the development of space technology and sciences worldwide. The Master's degree is co-accredited by Vietnam and France. Since 2016, the master program has changed its name to “SPACE: Earth Observation, Astrophysics, Satellite Technologies”. The graduation certificate is delivered by USTH and one of the four French universities participating in the master: the University of Paris, Observatory of Paris, University of Montpellier, and University of Paris Est-Créteil. Courses of international standard are delivered by professors from these French universities, USTH, with additional support from Space Technology Institute (STI) and Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC). The Master training system at the USTH is realized through the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). A special feature of the program is the opportunity to practice for 3-6 months in France and other developed countries in the space field, which has a great opportunity for students to access advanced science and professional working environment and improve their researches for the future. And USTH is proud of USTH alumni working at leading space research institutions such as Nasa, Paris Observatory, etc.

The aim of the master in ICT is equipping students with the most up-to-date, high-level background knowledge and information technology skills so that they can easily adapt to a professional working environment if they study higher education abroad; or take up management positions, or founded their own IT startups. Students are enrolled both at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (Vietnam France University) and at a French partner university. A six (6) months internship in France will be offered to students in the second year (Master 2). Graduated students will be awarded a double degree from a French university and from the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi.

USTH proposes an international Master Degree in Biotechnology Pharmacology, of 19 teaching units (equivalent to 120 ECTS) taught in English. More than 60% of them are taught by international lecturers. The Master’s program was accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research in October 2016. The master course is characterized by academic and practical courses that initiate the student to the top knowledge and cutting-edge technologies in Biotechnology. Two internships in public or private research and development laboratories, in Vietnam or abroad, allow the student to get first professional experiences to conduct and report on a scientific research project. In addition, the student is trained in law, economy, and management to be familiar with the international regulations and practices operative in international and Vietnamese companies. The master aims to form a managerial R&D staff of international standards for biotechnology companies, universities, and research institutions and open the way to realize a Ph.D.
