Computer and Information Science (4 Years)
The doctoral Program in Computer and information science is aimed to educate highly trained experts and future scientists who will be capable of independent research in the field of computer and information science. In addition, graduates from the Program are expected to gain communication skills by developing the ability to present their scientific achievements and working in groups of interdisciplinary teams. The doctoral Program in Computer and Information Science is organized and carried out by the Faculty of Computer and Information Science. The Program consists of organized forms of study, research work and the preparation of the doctoral dissertation. The organized forms of study comprise several core courses in computer and information science and an overview course, the courses offering skills in scientific work, seminar courses and elective courses. The overview course is organized with the aim of refreshing students’ knowledge in a broader field of computer and information science and is particularly important for students with background knowledge other than in computer science.

The doctoral programme in Computer and Information Science is organized and carried out by the Faculty of Computer and Information Science.
