Gateway to Medicine is an additional year which prepares students for the standard MBChB Medicine course. Gateway to Medicine is suitable for two groups of applicants in particular. For both groups, passing Gateway to Medicine with a satisfactory grade average (B3 or above) and competitive UKCAT and Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) performance is required for progression onto the MBChB Medicine course itself.
