The programme aims to teach students: A functional and technical level of competence above that demanded by the Chartered Accountants' professional syllabus, in the areas of financial accounting, management accounting, finance, auditing and taxation; the development of a theoretical and conceptual understanding of accounting, enabling graduates to apply the necessary accounting skills and concepts to comprehend and solve accounting problems; the ability to use the required IT tools, decision-making and evaluation processes and communication skills when reporting financial information to businesses and assessing the impact of eventual decisions.
