Master's Degree in Nanoscience and Molecular Nanotechnology

The Master in Nanoscience and Molecular Nanotechnology is designed to provide training in the field of Nano-Science and Nano-Technology. This training will help students develop the skills needed to work as professionals in this field or give them the qualifications to start Doctoral Thesis research.

This program focus on subjects ranging from molecular systems to Nano-Science/Nano-Technology and has relevance in areas of scientific interest such as Molecular Magnetism, Molecular Electronics, Supra-Molecular Chemistry, surface physics, and the Science of Molecular Materials. 

Admission requirements

The recommended entry profile is a student who has previous bachelor degree studies in technical or experimental courses related to the objectives of the Master, including: Chemistry, Physics, Bio-chemistry, Bio-technology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar qualifications Students will also have to show level B2 English to guarantee that they can follow the theory classes

Master in Nanoscience and Molecular Nanotechnology

Continuing studies

Having completed the Master, students will have the multi-disciplinary training in both the chemical aspects relating to nanoscience (ascending approach of nanoscience for designing functional molecules and surpra-molecular structures; inter-molecular interactions; self-assembly and molecular self-organisation) and the physical aspects (descending approach for nano-manufacture, physical handling and organisation techniques and the characterisation of nanomaterials).
