Program description

Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, General Management

Develop industry-relevant skills to succeed in management-level positions in private and public sector organizations. Make employer connections and earn academic credits as you participate in paid co-op work experience, international exchange and networking opportunities.

Admission requirements

  1. C+ in one of Provincial English 12, English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, NIC ENG-060, ENG-096, or ENG-098; or C+ in ESL-092 and ESL-095; or English assessment; and
  2. C+ in Foundations of Math 11 or NIC MAT-055; or C in one of Principles of Math 11, Pre-Calculus 11, Applications of Math 12, NIC MAT-053; or Math Assessment;
  3. or, permission of the department.
  4. NIC Tourism & Hospitality diploma graduates (all options) are eligible for admission directly into third year of NIC’s Bachelor of Business Administration, General Management; or Marketing major.

Tuition fees

The full tuition price for domestic students is $3025/year. The price for International students is $13500/year

Career opportunities

After graduation, you will be well-prepared for management-related employment opportunities in both private and public sector organizations, or you may opt to pursue your own business ventures. You may also be eligible for membership in the Canadian Institute of Management and the Human Resources Management Association. If you are are interested in earning a CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation, a degree is a requirement and the general management degree option will help prepare you to write the CHRP examination.
