The BSc (Hons) Psychological Counselling includes the vital elements of the BSc (Hons) Psychology programme necessary for BPS recognition (pending), with an additional focus on counselling skills and theory. The counselling specific modules aim to advance students skills in this area and also there is an option of having these skills recognised with a CPCAB certificate (pending). Although completion of this degree programme does not qualify you to practice as a trained counsellor it does provide the initial phase required
