With a history extending 175 years, Liverpool Hope has developed a strong tradition of scholarship and research in key disciplines.
The University places emphasis on bringing together research excellence and top-quality teaching. This research-informed teaching enables our students to develop into rounded and employable graduates who can take their place confidently as global citizens in the 21st century.
Liverpool Hope has two main teaching campuses. Hope Park is our main teaching campus and is situated in Childwall, a leafy suburb of Liverpool. The campus is a mini educational village with places to live, work, and study. Creative Campus is based just outside the city centre, and is home to our School of Creative and Performing Arts, with specialised spaces to work and study, as well as space to live, eat and socialise.
Liverpool Hope University is divided into nine schools and departments, each of which comprises a number of subject areas with strong teaching and research reputations. We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across: Liverpool Hope Business School; School of Creative and performing Arts; School of Education; Department of Geography and Environmental Science; School of Health and Sport Sciences; School of Humanities; School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering; Department of Psychology; and School of Social Sciences.

We have a Gym that is free for students to use after a registration fee of £25 for the year.
Hope Works is the University student career service where students can apply for part time work on campus.
We have a dedicated students union that provide support and guidance to all of our students.
We also have a designated International Hub whom support our international students pre arrival all the way to graduation and beyond.
At Liverpool Hope University, we have two beautiful main teaching campuses, a dedicated accommodation campus, and an outdoor education centre. It is within the beautiful landscaped grounds of these campuses that you will study, live and socialise, whilst enjoying all of the benefits of being in the vibrant city of Liverpool.

Creative Campus is the home to our creative and performing arts degrees. It is based in the city centre of Liverpool and is a constant hive of activity, with teaching, living and social spaces – and an on-site theatre.
Aigburth Park is our residential-only campus providing accommodation for continuing, postgraduate and international students.

Hope Social provides information about what’s happening on campus and throughout our awesome city. We want you to have an amazing time while you’re at university, and we aim to give you the best chance of squeezing as much into your time with us as possible. Hope Social is for resident and non-resident students, so everyone can get involved!
Each Campus has a weekly student night. These look different each week and there will be something for everyone - It’s a chance for you to meet new people and maybe try something you’ve not tried before.
Whether you’re a first year undergraduate student, a PGCE or postgraduate student, or a student joining us from an international partner for a semester/year, we have a range of halls available.
We have halls of residence across our 3 campuses: Hope Park, Creative Campus and Aigburth Park. Visit our halls pages to view details and costs for each hall.
At Hope Park we offer 532 rooms which are reserved for first year undergraduates and include both en-suite and shared facilities rooms. All rooms are single occupation and include internet access.
At Creative Campus we offer 188 en-suite accommodation rooms in the Gerard Manley Hopkins Hall and Aigburth Park is a residential campus where we have 220 en-suite and 207 shared facility rooms. This campus is approximately 3 miles from the city center and Hope Park, just around the corner from all the cafes, bars and shops on Lark Lane, and the beautiful Sefton Park.
