Italian Art History in Florence

To be combined with Standard Course

Enrolling on this Italian language and Art History course in Florence you will fully appreciate the rich artistic heritage of this wonderful city. You will gain insight into the artistic and historical developments in Italy and Florence. The Art History course in Florence is offered in the afternoon throughout the year, combined with an Italian Standard Course in the morning.
Course objectives
During the Italian Art History classes you will be given an overview of the main art historical periods from Romanesque to Mannerism in Architecture, Painting and Sculpture in Florence.
Course content
The Art History programme foresees also classes on site (museums, churches, historical buildings). You will need an elementary knowledge of Italian to attend the Art History course.
