Hartpury University
Our history dates back to after World War II when we started as an agricultural college with only 50 students. Today, we have more than 3,500 students, studying a range of further and higher education qualifications including animal, agriculture, equine, sports and
veterinary nursing degrees.
The energy and passion on campus is clear as soon as you arrive – we’re buzzing with new ideas, research and business ventures. Our students and staff are passionate about their subjects. They know each other by name and work together to change the futures of their industries.
The acorn in our logo reflects much more than the stunning countryside that surrounds us; it’s symbolic of the potential within us all to grow and make a difference to the world within which we live.
We have 1,650 students completing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees as well as higher education diplomas and postgraduate research degrees at Hartpury University.
Our teaching and learning is rated Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (2017), placing us among the top higher education providers nationally for teaching and learning. We’re also rated in the top 5 in the UK for postgraduate taught student experience (PTES, 2018).
