Program description

Master International Communication Management (Full time)

During the master in International Communication Management (MICM) you are immersed in an environment of differing perspectives in which you will experience hands-on how different cultures communicate in different ways. MICM deals with everything there is to know about international communication, such as corporate reputation, media relations, social media and internal communications, so businesses across the globe will know whom to call when they face a sticky communication problem.

Apart from the in-depth material on international communication you will acquire during lectures, the real MICM experience is learning from your peers in the international classroom. MICM students typically differ in terms of occupation and nationality and this always inspires them to discuss burning questions about communication during course lectures. You will find answers on how to use communication during a corporate crisis, for instance, or how to implement a strategy to better a company’s internal relations.

In addition to the eight main courses and the thesis project, you will also complete five professional skills seminars. These seminars, along with the other courses are renewed each year, ensuring that the MICM curriculum remains relevant and reflects overall trends in the marketplace. The last component of the curriculum, and final phase, is the master thesis.
