This innovative distance learning program will equip students with the key skills required to occupy senior level positions within public and private sector procurement. Our course is one of the few Master's programs to combine procuremnt law and procurement strategy. It ahas also been specifically designed to be delivered entirely through distance learning.
You will gain a Masters-level qualification with a specialisation in procurement law, strategy and practice, which will provide a springboard for those already working in procurement-related professions to accelerate their career progression. Those who desire to pursue a career in this area will be provided with a unique opportunity to rapidly elevate their understanding and to enter the profession at a senior level.
You will benefit from a program delivered by an expert multi-disciplinary team at Bangor University’s internationally recognised Institute for Competition and Procurement Studies, and is further enriched by expert guest lecturers.
This is a part-time, distance learning course, ideal for those seeking to remain in full-time work whilst studying. It is also a great option for those who do not wish to physically relocate to the UK for their postgraduate studies.
A 2.ii undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Law, Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Engineering (or related discpline).
Applicants with a suitable professional qualification (e.g. MCIPS) and/or 3 years or more work experience in a procurement-related field and applications from working professionals with non-graduate qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.
IELTS 6.5 (with no element below 6.0).

For the full Masters qualification, students must also complete the Applied Procurement Research Project (an 18,000-20,000 word project comparable to a dissertation).

- Previous graduates from our 1-year full-time LLM in Public Procurement Law & Strategy have found our program to be particularly effective in enhancing employability.
