Health and Social Care
This course provides a multidisciplinary, social science based route to qualification in the health and social care fields. An alternative to clinical training, the emphasis during this course is on the social experiences of health and care, including the policy issues, the delivery and management of services, and the evaluation of evidence.
Some modules offered as part of the course are also available through the medium of Welsh.

Admission requirements
For 2020 entry:
Typical offer is based on a minimum 96 tariff points from a Level 3 qualification* e.g.:
- A Levels
- BTEC National/Extended Diploma and Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma
- International Baccalaureate Diploma
- Access: Pass Access to Higher Education Diploma
- Irish Leaving Certificate: 96 points from a minimum of 4 Higher Subjects
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Extended Diploma
- Welsh Baccalaureate.
International Candidates: school leaving qualifications and college diplomas are accepted from countries worldwide (subject to minimum English Language requirements)
