Taormina, Sicily is an ideal location to study Italian in Italy! Students enrolled in an Italian language course at BABILONIA - Center for Italian Language and Culture are surrounded by architecture boasting Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Swabian, French and Spanish roots; simply wandering about Taormina's winding, hilly streets uncovers a history classroom.

BABILONIA also offers a great variety of extra courses such as Diving, Hiking, Cooking Classes, Wine & Food Programs, Ceramics, etc. Our school is accredited by the Ministry of Education in Italy and is a member of IALC, ASILS and EDUITALIA.

The school is designated as an official exam center for CELI exams and is a training center for the ITAL University Master. Babilonia was founded in 1992 and is the oldest Italian language school south of Rome. Our teachers have all earned a university Master's Degree and have specially trained to teach Italian as a Second Language. All teachers are certified with a DILS Certification by the University for Foreigners of Perugia.
