Master's Program in Photography
The Master's Program in Photography at Aalto University in Finland is an education Program which aims to strengthen students' artistic vision, expression, and professional skills.
Aalto's 2-year Masters in Photography focuses on photography as an independent, multiartistic form of expression, and on the development of conceptual, research-oriented thinking. Students enrolled in this Masters in Photography are able to deepen their previous studies in photography, and also to specialise in the aspect of photography of their choice.
The education curriculum of this Masters in Photography is made up of theoretical studies, seminars, workshops, lectures, and personal tutoring. It includes a diverse range of approaches to photography, from practical to conceptual.
Before completing the Masters in Photography, students are required to submit a thesis. Upon completion of the Master's Program in Photography, graduates are well-prepared to launch successful careers in the field of photography, or may continue their studies toward a PhD in photography.
Admission requirements
