5 Language Pathway Programs in USA

This two-week course is intended for international high school students (ages 14-17) interested in pursuing an undergraduate education in the United States. The course is designed to provide tools and strategies needed to focus, think critically and become an independent lifelong learner to achieve greater success in college and beyond. Experience campus life at a world-class, tier 1 research university known for its rigorous academics and safe college-town atmosphere. Upon completion of the course, students will earn two units of UC Davis academic credit, gain a newfound confidence in their academic performance and have a better understanding of the U.S. college admissions process—particularly the UC Davis admissions process.

Learn to address the needs of K–12 students studying English as a second language with Brenau's online English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement. You can complete this nine-credit hour program as a standalone credential or incorporate it into an education graduate program. A bachelor's degree, a Level 4 teaching certificate and one year of teaching experience are required to apply.

The online Reading Endorsement from Brenau University provides the advanced study in content and pedagogy that you need to teach reading. The University Pathway Program (Undergraduate) is an 18 -25 unit program that provides pre-matriculated international students with the opportunity to earn credit toward their degree while improving their English language skills. Students will gain the English skills, academic and social acculturation, and foundational academic content necessary to thrive at SF State. Students will take a wide range of lower-division courses, primarily general education courses.
