The Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism at FAUUSP (Master, 1971 and Doctorate, 1980) is one of the oldest in the country. Based in São Paulo, in a palace from the beginning of the 20th century - Vila Penteado, in the heart of the largest metropolis in South America, the stage of tensions and social and spatial transformations, it aims to awaken researchers and professionals to act in the face of the challenges of the Brazilian reality, having as principle the commitment of citizenship intrinsic to the duties of a public university.

The Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering, at the Master's level, with an area of ​​concentration in Construction Engineering, corresponds to the result of the Evolution Process of the Department of Civil Engineering at UNICAP. The course in question intends to assist professionals in Civil Engineering, Architecture, as well as other areas that have some relationship with Civil Engineering, as long as they present research projects related to the lines that the Program offers, encouraging the development of research in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Brazil.

The Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism is administered by the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Viçosa. It aims to qualify, in a multidisciplinary perspective, human resources, scientifically and culturally, in a broad and in-depth way, through the development of research aimed at solving problems in the scope of Architecture and Urbanism.

The lato sensu specialization course in Software Architecture aims to train professionals in the area, capable of meeting market demands based on the assumptions of creation and innovation in technologies. Software Architecture is a field that sees automation behaviors in different contexts and designs solutions compatible with the current demands of organizations / corporations. The professional graduating from this course will be able to develop architectural requirements necessary to build software, apply architectural standards in various scenarios of application integration, model and document software architectures, as well as lead technical teams in software projects.

The Master's Course in Architecture and Urbanism of the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism at PUC-Campinas, considering its scientific vocation, the need for training professionals trained in the field of architecture and urbanism and teachers for higher education, also, improving the quality of teaching and the social functions of the University, assumes the following objectives: - Consolidate and expand the characteristics of the current PUC-Campinas program as a reference center in teaching, research, and extension, working simultaneously as a training center for university professors and researchers and as a permanent source of innovation in architecture, urbanism, and territory management. - Consolidate and expand the characteristics of the program as a teaching and research center specialized in architecture and urbanism, in order to clearly focus the area of ​​concentration and lines of research on the themes of theory, history, criticism, design, innovation, and management of architecture and urbanism.

The Postgraduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism was launched in 2007 at the Centre for the Arts of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). It trains researchers, teachers and professionals who have cities as their object of study and are able to respond to the challenges that the area of architecture and urbanism faces nowadays. The program pursues the articulation of theory and practice in architecture and urbanism, also drawing on the expertise of related disciplines to find innovative and technological solutions to contemporary problems.

The Program's objective is to train researchers in Architecture and Urbanism and is aimed at training higher-level teaching staff, qualifying the student to carry out research that contributes to the specific knowledge in the line in which he works and produces. Considering that the field of Architecture and Urbanism is characterized by the intense link between theoretical reflection and practical realization of the matter, characterizing a peculiar field of Applied Social Sciences, it also aims at training researchers with the knowledge that contribute to the qualitative increase of architectural “praxis” and urbanistic, mainly in relation to issues related to the qualification, conservation and management of the urban environment and its architectures.

The course is suitable for professionals in the areas of information science, communication, marketing, administration, design, among others who seek specialized knowledge in the development of digital solutions and services, from conception, research, prototype validation to monitoring the post solution -launch.

Territorial Planning and Social Development innovates critically and is called Territory, Environment, and Society - After 15 years of producing critical mass, training masters and doctors, the Postgraduate Program strengthens the concept that the relationship between society and nature. it is a common denominator of territorial, environmental and social issues. The problematization of this perspective gave new meaning to the concept of the PPG, now called Territory, Environment, and Society. The concentration area and lines of research are more engaged and the faculty expanded.

In this course you will find a dynamic approach to the design of interior environments, using methodologies that defy the traditional. With a lot of experiential learning, the course explores themes of Residential, Corporate, and Commercial Architecture (Retail). You will be constantly encouraged to generate insights with demands on the language of materials, lighting, color, furniture, and the integration of technical components. After graduating, you will be able to design environments with technical and creative solutions that meet the human needs for comfort and well-being according to technical, functional, economic, and aesthetic standards.

The Undergraduate Course in Civil Engineering can be completed in five years (10 periods) and is structured in such a way as to provide the classical theoretical foundations and the most advanced techniques currently applicable to solving problems in the area.

The Graduate Program in Civil Engineering (PROEC) at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) was authorized by CAPES on December 10, 2010, as stated in the Recommendation Form - APCN / CAPES, and officially began its activities on January 3, 2011, with the announcement of the Call for Applications for candidates for the academic master's course. The first class, with 10 students, started its activities on March 15, 2011. In 2018, there are already 33 regular students taking a master's degree in Civil Engineering at UFS.

The Professional Master's course in Civil Engineering, recommended by CAPES at the 160th Meeting of the Technical-Scientific Council for Higher Education (CTC-ES), held from October 19 to 23, 2015, aims to improve the qualification of professionals for this area, to promote the improvement in the application of new and traditional materials, as well as to develop applied research in the area through the deepening and production of knowledge in the material science lines (of physical, chemical and structural qualities) and technology of materials, products, and applications in construction systems. This training must culminate in the elaboration of a Course Conclusion Paper, linked to one of the lines of research, presented in a public session to an examining board.

The fundamental aspects that guided the creation of the course were solid theoretical concepts in the areas of structural calculation and mechanical manufacturing combined with practical classes in order to support the theoretical subjects taught in the classroom. This course was developed in line with the engineering sector of Vale do Rio Doce, which has had structural and manufacturing problems in its equipment. This partnership would make it possible to improve the company's practical knowledge combined with the theoreticians of PUC Minas in order to disseminate this knowledge with gains for the whole of society.
