Industrial design is the youngest of the practical disciplines. In Poland, the industrial design grew out of the tradition of practical arts, establishing itself as an independent field in the late 1970s. Thus, by definition, industrial design is the design of the form and features of products intended to be marketed. Failure to recognize its uniqueness as compared to the other creative disciplines, too often leads to it being described as one of the practical arts and crafts, and consequently to it being wrongly understood by society in general.

Rowan University’s Master of Arts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education prepares students for successful careers as highly skilled math and science teachers. The M.A. in STEM Education offers the unique opportunity for students who have undergraduate degrees in mathematics, engineering, or the sciences to pursue an initial New Jersey teaching certificate in mathematics and/or the sciences and a Master's degree simultaneously. This program is carefully designed such that all coursework has a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) focus that provides the ideal pedagogical preparation for prospective mathematics or science teachers in the K-12 setting. This 13-month program includes an early field experience, face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses, and a yearlong teacher residency.

The MA in STEM Education program is a Master’s degree program for students who wish to advance their professional knowledge and skills in STEM Education. The program is to prepare STEM educators and leaders to more effectively teach, engage, and inspire a diverse population of students in the STEM fields.

The MA Glass programme encourages the development of individual and distinctive glass practice through engagement with contemporary approaches to the material, critical and cultural context and debate. You will explore a full range of material expressions that will encourage and challenge preconceptions about glass and its status within the world of craft, art and design.

This course offers you the opportunity to develop core skills demanded by automotive and transport design studios or global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Working on studio-delivered briefs and ‘live’ industry projects, you will be taught the underlying theory, 2D and the latest 3D techniques used to resolve automotive design challenges within the areas of exterior and interior design. We offer industry-standard facilities, including an automotive clay modelling studio, laser cutting, rapid prototyping and 3D printing.

The MArch(SEEC) qualification is a one-year full-time program on sustainability and energy studies with a focus on cities, settlements, buildings, and architecture.
