Second-cycle studies (MA), extramural, 3 or 4 semesters, conducted at the GSW headquarters in Gdańsk (Faculty of Engineering Sciences). A graduate of master's studies in the field of management and production engineering has extensive skills in the area of management implemented in business entities and production engineering in production and service enterprises.

Industrial design is the youngest of the practical disciplines. In Poland, the industrial design grew out of the tradition of practical arts, establishing itself as an independent field in the late 1970s. Thus, by definition, industrial design is the design of the form and features of products intended to be marketed. Failure to recognize its uniqueness as compared to the other creative disciplines, too often leads to it being described as one of the practical arts and crafts, and consequently to it being wrongly understood by society in general.

Industrial design training combines a creative and humanities education with technical knowledge. The students are exposed to specific design tasks, which prepare them for cooperation with the industrial world and for independent design work. The Academy cooperates with many industrial plants, which enables the design concepts developed during the courses to evolve into prototypes and be presented to prospective manufacturers at industry exhibitions in Poland and abroad.

The graduate of this specialization has the knowledge and skills to create IT and mobile systems and engineering their security, parallel and distributed computation methods, modeling languages, and IT project management. The graduate can design and create internet applications (web, mobile, and cloud platforms) and know how to administer them.

Education in the field of internal security is interdisciplinary. Students gain general knowledge of law and administration, organization and management, psychology, sociology, etc., in conjunction with specialist, practical knowledge about threats to state security, health, life and property of citizens, information security, crisis management and maintenance of public order.
