The Master of Divinity (MDiv) is a professional graduate degree program tailored for those looking to become ordained or serve in various ministerial vocations. We offer both a standard three-year, 78-credit full-time program and a flexible part-time option to accommodate the diverse needs and schedules of our students.Students come to Union with a multitude of backgrounds, interests, and aspirations. Recognizing this diversity, Union has thoughtfully designed a flexible MDiv curriculum to provide students with diverse ways to fulfill degree requirements

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) will prepare you for Christian ministry and post-graduate work. Students learn and practice careful biblical interpretation, think critically about biblical and contemporary theology and ethics, and interact in healthy ways within the diversity of cultures and religions. Learn how to interpret the scriptures in their historical and cultural contexts, preach biblical sermons that are true to the text, and sensitive to audience needs.

The 87 credit hour Master of Divinity is the right choice if you are seeking a complete, professional ministry degree that equips you to love God supremely, handle the Scriptures accurately, serve the church effectively and love all people equally through a biblically rich and theologically firm education. The broad degree gives pastors, teachers, and ministry leaders the tools they need for full-time ministry goals. The learning experience is capped with a unique one-year, paid internship, or integrative ministry project to give you immediate and practical ministry experience.

Maitripa College offers a robust, 72 credit minimum, three-to-four year Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree under the direction of Yangsi Rinpoche. The MDiv is a professional degree focused on a Buddhist approach to cultivating intellectual, spiritual, and professional skills in order to work as an agent of positive change in the world.

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is the most comprehensive formational degree for ministry that ACU’s Graduate School of Theology offers. It is our shared mission to serve the church by equipping students. The M.Div. is designed to offer you a firm grounding in scripture, history, and theology as well as training in practical ministry skills such as the art of preaching and reading cultures and contexts. This graduate degree will prepare you to enter into all forms of ministry or expand your current vocation; it also provides a solid foundation for further study in Ph.D., Th.D., and D.Min programs.

The BD in Theology with Pastoral Studies invites students to explore issues of Scripture and Christian belief, lived ethics, Christian spirituality, and mission.

The Master of Divinity (MDiv) program is designed to empower and equip students to serve as transformational Christian leaders within today’s multicultural contexts. UUC offers the traditional ministerial skills of biblical and theological competence, effective communication, spiritual sensitivity and maturity, passion for evangelism, and pastoral care. In addition, our program offers courses in the global interconnection of the contemporary world, the importance of understanding urbanization, principles of effective leadership, organizational development skills, and social transformation. Graduates of the program will be competently equipped to serve effectively and at a professional level as ordained pastors and leaders within the contexts of churches or other Christian organizations and/or ministries.

This degree is designed for those who plan to serve in vocational Christian ministry roles, whether in traditional parish settings or in other Christian ministry organizations. Graduates from this program are serving in a wide-array of ministry professions, including: pastor/priest, chaplain, campus ministry, associate ministerial roles, Bible teachers, missionaries, church planters and more.

This is a 3-year program designed to provide integrated training for those entering the pastorate in diverse situations, including missionary service, church education ministries, teaching in theological institutions and other related types of Christian service. The program draws from various divisions of the theological disciplines, thus allowing the program to give the student the option to concentrate on one area of emphasis or specialization. Students in the program can pursue any one of the following emphases: Biblical Studies, Christian Education, Church History, Missions, Pastoral, Theological and Translation Studies. On the other hand, a student can pursue a general area of study without taking any emphasis.

In this academically rigorous and spiritually grounded program, you will learn to attend to our Church's needs with leadership honed to promote social change in service of the common good. The curriculum includes coursework in Biblical studies, historical, systematic, moral, and pastoral theology and preaching and liturgical leadership, Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), and Supervised Practice of Ministry (SPM).

MDiv is a three-year program that prepares graduates for pastoral, preaching, and teaching ministries either in the church or in the mission field, offering a comprehensive study of the Bible, including the biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek), theology, church history, preaching and practical ministry, mission and evangelism, Christian education, and Christian counseling. Usually the minimum degree for ordination in most denominations and for entry into Ph.D. or ThD programs in theological studies.

This degree is a professional ministry degree and is required by many denominations for ordination. It includes a broad education in the scholarly and practical dimensions of pastoral ministry and the capstone experience of undertaking either a ministry internship or writing a thesis.

Study the Bible cover-to-cover while developing a foundational understanding of Christian doctrine and applied theology, preparing to approach pastoral responsibilities ranging from counseling to financial management with a biblical perspective.

The MDiv program is designed to educate and train those who seek to serve as ordained ministers, evangelists, missionaries, and other ministry leaders. The DMin program is designed to educate experienced ministers who are seeking to enhance their ministries with advanced theological understanding and research.
