The Master of Divinity and Master of Divinity by extension, degree programs are for those seeking an academic program with practical applications within which to explore the depth of their faith and prepare for a variety of public and pastoral ministries. VST’s Master of Divinity program is accepted for ordination by the Anglican, United and Presbyterian denominations in Canada and by the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America.

The Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree program is for those wishing to develop further perspectives in theological thought for personal or professional enrichment, for those interested in further academic study, or for those seeking further development in their spiritual journey in relation to other professions.

The Master of Theology degree is a post-graduate degree. This means an applicant is required to have already completed a master's degree in theological studies to be eligible to apply. The ThM (an advanced master's degree) is designed to provide the student with an advanced understanding of one area or discipline within the general context of the theological study, and the development of research methods and resources appropriate to the area or discipline chosen.

Newburgh Theological Seminary offers an opportunity for select ministers to participate in an earned Doctor of Divinity degree program. This tract of study is for the mature minister who has a proven track record of ministry service. This degree provides a specialized area of study that leads to the prestigious Doctor of Divinity degree.

For those called to minister in today's changing world, the Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary offers trusted and comprehensive theological education. This degree is challenging because ministry is challenging. There are no shortcuts in ministry and none with the Southern M.Div.

The Ecclesiastical Bachelor of Divinity is a five-year part-time distance-learning degree programme in theology providing a comprehensive exposition and analysis of Christian doctrine based on the study of the sacred Scriptures, the works of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, and the documents of the Magisterium.
