5 Translation Degree Programs

The UVIGO "Master in Multimedia Translation" (MTM) has as its main objective to complete the training of students and professionals in translation and related fields in multimedia environments. It is oriented towards the professional application of the technical knowledge acquired and, with an eminently practical approach, tries to cover social demand and specialize graduates and graduates in the field included in the title.

The Master's in Technical Communication and Localization (TCLoc) is a flexible, career-oriented, and accredited online master's degree program taught entirely in English, specifically designed for professionals looking to further their education.

This is a 2-year program that provides for the professional development needs of practicing translators, translation project leaders, and translation consultants involved in the translation of the Bible and related material. It integrates training in Biblical languages, exegesis, translation principles, consulting, translation project management, and areas of linguistics directly relevant to Bible translation.

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at USEK, founded in 2019, is the result of the merge of the Faculty of Letters, Philosophy and Humanities, Sciences and Music and is an academic reengineering process decided in 2017.
