SCI-Arc’s Master of Science in Design Theory and Pedagogy one-year program prepares students for a new kind of hybrid career that has emerged in architecture: the architect-theorist-educator. (This program is pending WSCUC approval.)

In the Master’s Program in Theatre Pedagogy, art pedagogy is seen as a form of artistic activity where pedagogical questions are ever-present. In the context of art pedagogy, art, performance, and teaching are viewed as encounters where aesthetic, ethical, and political phenomena are intertwined. The program consists of advanced studies in the arts, studies in the theory and practices of art pedagogy, research studies, teaching practices, international interaction, and elective studies that support the development of the student’s identity as an art pedagogue.

The two-year Master’s Degree Program in Pedagogy and Teaching for Sustainability is a multidisciplinary program focusing on pedagogical approaches to promote sustainability through education. The program is divided into orientation studies, methodological studies, subject studies, and other studies. The curriculum of the program has a global focus and it offers a wide opportunity to learn about sustainability from ecological, cultural or/and social aspects with a pedagogical viewpoint.

Many of the issues involved in social and professional discussions on youth and education require an interdisciplinary approach. But why and how does this approach work?

This MEd Digital Pedagogy course is designed to support the professional development of individuals working in education and training at either tertiary or higher education levels, specifically in the contemporary digital environment. The intention is to strengthen and enhance participants' understanding of digital educational issues, whilst raising their professional profiles.

The Master in Therapeutic Psychopedagogy aims to train professionals prepared to face different educational challenges related to the academic performance of students, the innovation of learning processes, the improvement of information systems and the development of competences of the educational population, from its cognitive, social and emotional dimension. This Master offers you specialized training in the design and orientation of psychopedagogical care in nursery, primary and secondary education centers that seek to respond to the care needs of current students. After completing the studies, you will be able to evaluate, diagnose and intervene in the different disorders and current educational needs, choosing the most appropriate therapy based on the profile of the group with which you work.

This Master has a modular structure, with a common module that lays the foundations for assessment, counselling and psycho-pedagogical intervention, to be later divided into two itineraries. The first itinerary is that of intervention in attention to diversity, which addresses people with specific educational needs, the programs for these people and the contexts in which they develop. The second itinerary is that of intervention in the social and working environment, in which the routes of socio-labor inclusion, intervention in lifelong learning and professional development, information and socio-labor support networks are addressed. This Master focuses on various contexts of action, such as those of attention to diversity and socio-labor, which require professionals who are specifically trained in these fields.

The Master in Therapeutic Psychopedagogy offers concrete answers to new educational challenges. The interculturality in the classrooms and the inclusion of students with learning difficulties poses a new scenario in which the psycho-pedagogical professional is the key element to achieve a more inclusive and transversal educational system.

The MA in Arts Pedagogy and Practice is the only programme in Asia dedicated to artist-educators. Designed for artists working in educational environments, the program blocks conventional pedagogic principles for the arts and introduces, through experimentation, inter- and transdisciplinary modalities in which new learnings emerge.

In the MSc in Pedagogical Sciences: Youth 0-21, Society and Policy, students actively shape their learning in collaborative learning communities and gain valuable work experience during an internship. Strong connections between our department and the practical field help to prepare you for a variety of professional roles. The unique spectrum of research topics and expertise in different methods ensure that the content of the program reflects the state-of-the-art in youth research.

With the Master in Psychopedagogy from UNIR Mexico you will acquire the necessary knowledge for the diagnosis and evaluation of psychoeducational needs applied in the school and professional environment, and you will be able to evaluate, diagnose and guide in the different stages of life.

Enrolling in this study programme, students will learn how to integrate innovative interdisciplinary knowledge through systematic thinking, and to then creatively implement it in physical activity and sports practice. Completion will qualify graduates to become leaders and seek new career challenges in a global society.
