PPGCOM-UFC was authorized in December 2007 and started its activities in March 2008, with the fundamental objective of strengthening research and teaching in the area of Communication locally. Our welcome to the Graduate Program in Communication and Territorialities at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (PósCom-Ufes). The program has its headquarters in Vitória-ES, offering the Master's course in Communication and Territorialities since 2014. It maintains an academic qualification profile attested by CAPES, having received grade 3 in the last evaluation. The area of concentration of PósCom is Communication and Territorialities, supported by Capes as follows: Communication studies in the production of territorialities, as well as the practical processes, media products in particular environments. Territorialities are understood here as processes that constitute the various classic geographic spaces, as well as those unicities formed from socioeconomic, political, and cultural interfaces, considering that territories of any nature are also articulated through communicational nexuses. It has as an antecedent that the production of life has an ordinary dimension, of the order of the body, of matter, of space/time, always crossed by the arrow of virtuality and transcendence. Contemporaneity is the result of multiple movements that occur more due to media communications than physical displacements.
