19 Education Degree Programs in Turkey

Our program is designed with a strong emphasis on clinical practice, offering hands-on applications and clinical practicums in both classroom and laboratory settings. Graduates earn the title of “Speech and Language Therapist” upon completion.

The Erasmus programme is an education programme of the EU for promoting multilateral cooperation between the higher education institutions in Europe.

The Department of Physical Education and Sports was established in 1994 to train Physical Education Teachers after Erzincan Education Institute was transformed into the Faculty of Education in 1992. Our department provides 4-year undergraduate education. In addition to the teaching staff of the Ministry of National Education, our graduates have the opportunity to find employment in Higher Education Institutions, Special Education Institutions, organizations affiliated to the General Directorate of Youth and Sports and sports-related fields. The language of education in our department is Turkish.

According to the principles determined by the Ministry of National Education and the Council of Higher Education, in addition to educating teachers who have gained general culture, special field and teaching-learning knowledge, skills and habits as well as scientific approach, democratic understanding, academic production, adaptation to changes in our country and in the world, team work and multidisciplinary who have the skills of communication, have the skills of communication, have the ability to use education technologies, have the values ​​of society, have the literary, artistic, sports and cultural values, have diversity as a wealth, combine theory and practice, have self-confidence and tolerance, to contribute to the improvement of quality and quantity of the education level of the society which is able to think in peace with its surroundings, think critically and express its thoughts in style, to take care of the development, to educate teachers who can learn.

The philosophy of Early Childhood Education is grounded in the recognition of the critical importance of the early years in shaping a child's development and future success. Early Childhood Education focuses on providing young children with nurturing, supportive, and stimulating learning environments that promote their holistic growth and development.

The institution building, which was opened as the “Ağrı Girls Primary Teacher School” in the 1967-1968 academic year, was transformed into a 2-year Education Institute since the 1977-1978 academic year and continued its teacher training function.

The English Language Education Master’s Program (with thesis) focuses on the theoretical and practical issues that impact the teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). It is designed to develop knowledge and critical understanding of recent theories and research in language acquisition and learning, and relate these to the practice of English language pedagogy.

The Student and Faculty Exchange Program Among Higher Education Institutions, which is briefly called the "Farabi Exchange Program", is a student and faculty exchange program between higher education institutions that provide education at associate degree, undergraduate, graduate and doctorate levels within universities and high technology institutes.

Mevlana Exchange Programme is a programme which aims the exchange of students and academic staff between the Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries.

The English Language Education Program (ELE) aims to train and educate well-qualified English language teachers with critical and creative thinking skills who could contribute to English language education practices at the local and international level.

Given technology’s increasing influence and increasing demands, the informed use of technology is a must to create rich learning environments in K12, higher education, business and industry, and consulting.

The Department of English Language Teaching aims to raise teachers who have acquired an advanced level of English proficiency as well as a high level of understanding of the knowledge and skills required for the language education field.

The MEd in Educational Leadership is designed to enable graduates who are well-educated in the principles and practices of transformative learning, as applied to contexts such as expressive and movement arts education, developmental and health coaching, and transformative leadership.

Educational Technology is an innovative way to design, deliver, facilitate, and manage chosen professional settings for learners of all ages, whether it is face-to-face, online, or both.

Graduate School of Educational Sciences offers graduate programs in educational sciences and various teacher training programs. Also, there are many national and international projects carried out in the Graduate School. Currently, in the 11 Departments of the Graduate School, 15 Doctorate Degree (PhD) programs, 18 Master of Arts programs, and 6 Non-thesis Master of Art programs are offered.
