About: This four-year program focuses on physical education and sports teaching. It aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage and educate others in physical activities and sports contexts. The curriculum combines theoretical learning with practical experiences, promoting a comprehensive understanding of health, fitness, and sports pedagogy.

The Department of Physical Education and Sports was established in 1994 to train Physical Education Teachers after Erzincan Education Institute was transformed into the Faculty of Education in 1992. Our department provides 4-year undergraduate education. In addition to the teaching staff of the Ministry of National Education, our graduates have the opportunity to find employment in Higher Education Institutions, Special Education Institutions, organizations affiliated to the General Directorate of Youth and Sports and sports-related fields. The language of education in our department is Turkish.
