Do you have a flair for dance, acting or fine art? Let your creativity shine through by selecting courses for a semester in Arts and Culture. Students who wish to pursue courses within these fields will be equipped with the necessary skills to enable them to formulate deeper interests and knowledge in theatre, dance and related fields such as film, television, advertising and teaching and/or preparation for pursuing research degrees (for students wishing to enter academia). Students will be exposed to the educational contexts of arts and culture and will explore some of the key discourses in Dance, including Dance and Cultural formation, History and Aesthetics. Coursework will be by seminars, practical workshops, engagement with on and off campus dance groups, conferences, and symposia. EICAR offers a One Year Filmmaking Program covering the fundamentals of visual storytelling – directing, editing, screenwriting, cinematography, producing. This program is designed to give the candidate the opportunity to discover and practice all basic aspects of the filmmaking craft.

The Film Industry Management course at ESE London introduces participants to the business engine behind filmmaking, offering a comprehensive understanding of production, strategy, and market dynamics.

The One Year Film Program is an intense and thorough expediated course that provides a solid platform to explore new dimensions in the field of International Media and Entertainment. This course prepares students for the burgeoning media field, and to be successful in the professional international world of Visual Media.

For one month each year, 15 selected participants co-direct a series of 3-5 minute documentaries with OTOXO Productions. These shorts are distributed to festivals & media outlets around the world and streamed on the OTOXO platform. For these reasons alone we demand the highest quality of work from our participants and provide them with the highest quality of training to ensure it.

The course in Film - Creating and Producing is a two-year international film education with the opportunity for you to get certification in Steadicam and go on study trips abroad. We are at the forefront of technology, which means that you get access to equipment according to industry standards and a modern Virtual Production studio, which is unique in Sweden.

The Film Industry Management course at ESE Madrid introduces students to the strategic, financial, and creative structures that drive one of the world’s most influential cultural industries.

Each year, 15 individuals are given the opportunity to co-direct a 60-minute documentary with OTOXO Productions to be screened on BTV. Simultaneously, participants are provided with an intensive nine-month training course covering all elements of documentary studies and production. Following this, the participants are given three months of training focused on becoming film industry professionals, whilst at the same time, they follow these steps and become film industry professionals in their own right.

This two-year course is equivalent to 3 A Levels and is designed to help you extend your understanding of the performing arts, develop your performing skills and learn new ones in our purpose-built performance spaces. It combines practical assignments and the study of variety of performance arts disciplines. You will work on production projects and be involved from backstage to front-of-house.
