This program is a full time study programme and focus on benefits gained from being physically active in a life span cycle. Experiences from using physical activity as a tool to improve health in different Norwegian health and fitness contexts and in the work place will be covered. In addition, the courses will draw upon experiences from health promotive work carried out in different sports contexts to obtain better health in society.

Information systems is the study of computer applications in an organizational context. We provide a three-year bachelor-degree program, with some modules taught in English. Learn how to to integrate systems engineering with advanced design thinking. Creative Systems Design deals with connecting design thinking/system, thinking/systemic design, and systems engineering. Creative Systems Design places creativity as an integral part of systems engineering. Creative Systems Design gives you a methodology for working more creatively with complex systems. This involves both individual and collaborative creativity. The methods are particularly well suited for building bridges between departments and silos.

With increasing globalization, mobility, and cultural flows, health problems need to be addressed from a worldwide perspective. We offer a course in Global Health for national and international students in nursing.

What are you doing this summer? Develop your global mindset, expand your network and earn credits while you study international marketing and international management at the USN International Summer School. Each year about 60 students gather together at Campus Ringerike for an intensive, five-week programme to study international management and international marketing. Students work closely with professors in USN’s friendly and stimulating campus environment.

Through drawing exercises with guidance and lectures, the goal is to develop observational skills and advanced problem solving in drawing. The student should learn how to apply knowledge from drawing classes to work in animation and other artistic fiields. For english speaking exchange students: Admission for exchange students is based exclusively on portfolio assessment. All exchange students must submit a link to their online portfolio, together with the application documents.

The course provides an introduction to the physical and optical laws behind photographic image production, with practical exercises designed to explore the problems and benefits connected to these facts. The course also explores; in theory and through practical exercises the fundamental rules regarding composition of visual elements and the communicative effects of photographic images. In addition the course provides lectures in the history of photography and photo journalism, as well as basic ethics and law concerning the topic.Teaching is offered in the form of lectures, individual exercises and plenum discussions around submitted studentmade images and images produced by professional photographers; based on given criteria as found in literature on visual communication. Some lectures may take place at evening time and/or during weekends. VUC reserves non-commercial user rights to images submitted during the course.
