Free Course On Teaching English As A Second Language (ESL) - With Certificate.

The English as a Second Language Program offers classes to resident and international students who are learning English as a second or another language. SBCC credit ESL classes help students develop the language and academic skills necessary to help them meet their life, career, and academic goals. ESL classes are offered from beginning to advanced levels necessary to enter community college classes in English and take other college classes. The program helps students develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English and also offers classes that focus on specific skills that support learning such as grammar and editing, basic computer skills for writing, conversation practice, listening, speaking, and notetaking for academic courses, and English to enter specific career programs such as Early Childhood Education and Environmental Horticulture.

In our intensive English program, you can experience life in the US and study academic English to prepare for your university degree or future career. We offer high beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of instruction with 18-20 hours of class per week. You will share classes with students from all over the world, including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South & Latin America, and the United States. We welcome all students, international and domestic.

The English Language and Intercultural Center (ELIC) offers fully customizable programs for individuals seeking to study in the United States academic and cultural context. As the centerpiece of the ELIC's international student support initiatives, the English Language Institute (ELI) provides state-of-the-art learning opportunities led by our world-class leaders and instructors. Our ESL courses are designed to build on students' previous education and English language knowledge. We measure their knowledge through a standardized English entrance test. Students will speak only through English when studying at TAIE.

Our General English courses aim to improve your ability to use English by developing your core language skills – speaking, listening, writing and reading. As well as developing your English skills for international communication, we also include lots of natural, (British) English, drawing on the local area and British culture.

Vocation English courses are front-loaded studies in which the student completes courses prior to the career-oriented vocational programs at this College. Vocational English courses focus on the development of the communication and job search skills necessary for employment in the healthcare field in the United States.

The ESL Program's goal at Pillar College is to help non-English speakers improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Our ESL program was developed by listening valuable feedbacks to our students whose first language is not English. It was specifically designed for beginner to intermediate-level students, and they can see the fundamental learning outcomes and bring the English language to life through the creation of an interactive learning experience.

Our Semi-Intensive ESL program is designed for students who want a more immersive curriculum with extended study periods. Hollywood College’s Semi-Intensive English classes combine formal instruction with fun, engaging activities that promote a deeper understanding of the English language.

Our Intensive ESL program is the most comprehensive program at Hollywood College and is designed for students who want to improve their English language skills at a rapid pace. This program is designed to include formal instruction and fun, engaging activities to help students develop their language skills for academic and day-to-day English interactions.

The Professional ESL program provides non-native speakers with the necessary tools and practice to effectively communicate in English and succeed in the ever-changing global market.

In this program, every week you take 15 hours of integrated English lessons in the morning, and 10 hours of skill development classes in the afternoon. The goal is to improve your overall English proficiency by focusing on specific language skills. This course provides the opportunity to improve your English communicative skills effectively and in the shortest possible time.
