The core curriculum emphasizes photography, figure modeling, form analysis, figure drawing, narrative principles, visual development for animation, character design, concept paintings, advanced exploration of perspective for video game design, and various other critical design disciplines.

Classes are taught by experts working on some of the best video and mobile games in Poland, so you can put the knowledge you gain into practise while you are still studying. The Visual Design area is built around one core educational pathway: The foundation of the program: designed to develop a strong command of visual language, layout, and design tools to create clear, consistent, and impactful visual communication. All students follow this path as the essential basis of their training. In addition, it is possible to integrate a specialized module: Communication Design & Management For those who want to enrich their skills with managerial, strategic, and creative coordination competencies. Topics include branding, project management, digital strategy, and the intersection between design, communication, and marketing. Both paths share solid design foundations and allow students to shape a well-rounded professional profile, with the flexibility to focus on either visual practice or creative direction.

This intensive 120-credit studio production program emphasizes analytical, creative, and experiential aspects of design, studio, and new media art. The BFA AVT is designed to prepare students professionally as visual artists or for graduate study in the arts. Students devote a significant portion of their college careers to an in-depth study in their concentration. In addition to completing the university-wide general education requirements and electives, BFA AVT majors must complete Studio Foundations Experience, studio core and research practicum courses, art history, and critical theory requirements, interdisciplinary studio course electives, Professional Practice, and a capstone. Students choose a concentration in either Graphic Design or Studio Art.
