Program is a certificate in Translation available in 12 languages of English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Applicants may study certification programs in two or three languages, as they desire. The entire program is 200 hours of theory, reading, assignments, and various translation projects completion. Language Proficiency Exam is required from applicants in their selected languages of a Translation program.

The Interpreter/Translator program is designed for students interested in the more technical aspects of the Inuktitut language and who wish to pursue a career in this field. The first-year places special emphasis on language development, communication skills, and technical skills necessary in translation. The second-year is designed to assist students to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required as an interpreter. Emphasis will be placed on helping the student acquire specialized vocabulary in technical areas, and on consecutive and simultaneous interpreting skills.
