47 Sustainability Degree Programs in Mexico

The program is focused on the comprehensive training of human resources at the postgraduate level, who, by becoming involved in knowledge generation, validation and/or transfer activities, as well as professional training, respond with innovative and knowledge-based proposals to the demands for a solution to the problem of animal production systems, the sustainable use and exploitation of natural resources in Chihuahua, in Mexico and even beyond its borders.

General objective: To train teachers of high academic-scientific level with an ethical attitude and social responsibility, capable of investigating and solving aspects related to the sustainable development of tourism, with a multi and interdisciplinary approach.

It is the first postgraduate degree that is taught mainly under the distance modality (through the ENVIA 3.0 platform) at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and covers a gap in postgraduate studies specialized in environmental issues since in this master's degree they are approached from the perspective of the social sciences, while most of the existing postgraduate courses in this area approach environmental problems from the agronomic and biological sciences or engineering. In the case of our master's degree, we seek the training of researchers and professionals who contribute to the construction of sustainability regarding the specific conditions of production, social organization, and cultural creation of the societies in which they have an impact.

General objective The student will be able to identify the main traditions and visions that, from the power structures public, determine the design and content of social development policies in Mexico. Specific objectives: The student will be able to:  Identify the most relevant analysis perspectives on social development.  Analyze the relationship between economic development and social development in development theories.  Understand the relevance of theories of justice to evaluate the different types of policies and social programs.  Acquire the basic conceptual elements to distinguish the implications of the different types of social policies and their economic, political, and legal implications.

The Master's Degree in Interpretation of Sustainable Tourism Heritage will encourage students to carry out professional advice and guidance, which includes the design and commercialization of interpretation itineraries on tourist routes, involving green hotels, ecotourism regions, clean beaches and marinas; all based on sustainability, innovation and the relevance of the value of natural, cultural and intangible heritage.

The graduate in this master's degree will be able to identify important similarities and differences between knowledge about sustainable and sustainable development with its implications in economic growth and development in the automotive industry, identify the errors of sustainable economic growth without forecasting the environment, it must be supported in norms and laws on environmental preservation. With skills to build new generalizations or principles based on knowledge of automotive sustainability.

General objectives Expand and consolidate the knowledge about Marine Ecology and enable the student to develop multidisciplinary research work, applying scientific and technical knowledge in an innovative way, which can serve as a platform for doctoral studies.

What is IDT? An immersive learning experience where participants will learn to identify, generate and implement innovative solutions. The Program in Innovation and Design Thinking is a four-month program focused on the design and implementation of innovative solutions that meet the emerging needs of real-world users. International experts advise students as they learn about design thinking and the three pillars of innovation: feasibility (business), feasibility (capacity), and desirability (people).

The Postgraduate Studies Program at the Doctorate level of the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste, SC, CIBNOR, is established with the purpose of contributing to the national effort in the training of human resources for scientific research and technological development in their areas of specialty. In particular, the training of independent researchers and qualified personnel to carry out scientific research tasks is pursued with an approach that includes knowledge of problems that primarily affect the development of the northwest region and the country, active participation in their resolution, and maintaining close ties with the social, government and private sectors.

The mission of the postgraduate programs offered by CIDETEQ is to generate human resources with the necessary skills to meet the needs of technological development, generation of knowledge, and training of human resources that the industry and universities of the country demand. Graduates of the master's program will contribute to the technology strategy and competitiveness of their company, through the implementation of industrial research projects of impact on the improvement of its infrastructure, processes, products, and/or services, with market orientation and making use of methodological and technical tools that promote creativity, innovation, intellectual protection and the solution to technological and innovation problems.

The Environmental Education and Climate Change course is located in the third semester and its purposes are: To provide relevant information that allows making conscious and reasoned decisions regarding the relationship between human beings and the environment. Promote a less consumerist vision that allows professional development associated with the teaching work of normal students. Strengthen the capacity of future teachers to recognize themselves as part of the environmental problem and the process for its transformation and solution through environmental education.

General objective: To train researchers and professionals of high academic level capable of generating, applying, and transmitting knowledge for the solution of national problems related to energy and the environment

The comprehensive training of the Teacher in Innovation and Educational Technology results in professionals who have a wide set of significant theoretical knowledge of technological innovation, applying them to the educational sector. At the same time, they develop critical thinking skills, event analysis, innovation, management, and communication skills for practice and research, aimed at solving problems and promoting social and individual development, based on an ethical attitude. and responsible, deeply committed to social and individual well-being.

This program is aimed at undergraduate and engineering graduates in general interested in developing skills and applying knowledge of administrative areas and technological innovation to propose strategic solutions to current problems.
