7 Pedagogy Degree Programs in Asia

The HELP Master of Education (Teaching and Learning), first offered in 2017, aspires to enhance professional competence, students’ knowledge and their career prospects in the discipline, based on informed practices and the broader views of education.

The MA in Arts Pedagogy and Practice is the only programme in Asia dedicated to artist-educators. Designed for artists working in educational environments, the program blocks conventional pedagogic principles for the arts and introduces, through experimentation, inter- and transdisciplinary modalities in which new learnings emerge.

The graduate receives an academic degree - a bachelor of education in "Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge" and can work in state structures, social institutions, educational institutions of state and non-state funding, institutions related to the problems of upbringing and development of the younger generation.

Chair of the "Pedagogy and Psychology" trains bachelors, masters of pedagogical and psychological sciences and doctors Ph.D. in the specialty "Pedagogy and Psychology" (5B010300, 6M010300, 6D010300). The scientific and pedagogical potential of the chair is represented by 10 doctors, professors, and 9 candidates of sciences, associate professors, leading scientists in the field of pedagogy and psychology, the owners of the various government grants, and national and international awards.

The sphere of professional activity of graduates of the specialty is the education system. The objects of professional activity of graduates are general education schools, small schools, gymnasiums, lyceums. The subject of professional activity is the pedagogical process in an elementary school environment.

The purpose of the program is to prepare a graduate who possesses the knowledge and skills necessary for teaching particular disciplines in universities and institutions of specialized secondary education; Owns innovative teaching technologies and has the skills to organize them; Formation of a competitive specialist with modern views, who owns the culture of professional communication.

This is a unique modular and flexible programme designed to reflect the needs of individuals or organizational cohorts. While each module has its own particular focus, all are concerned with investigating contemporary educational issues in the light of economic and social contexts, appropriate literature, and the shared experience of course members.
