The Master of Product Development - Specialisation in Assistive Technology (MASTech) for Engineers Program aims to provide students with knowledge and skills related to product development, design and manufacturing and is specifically targeted towards preparing graduates for a career within the assistive technology sector.

The Fashion Product Development MFA focuses on developing and managing all aspects of the fashion product development process. Emphasis will be placed on aesthetics, design, and product development strategies specific to companies and their target markets. Students will create product concepts and lines based on their in-depth market and trend research, textile and raw material sourcing strategies, manufacturing strategies and shipping logistics to deliver finished products to stores and consumers. Students will learn drawing, design, construction, technical, and industry-standard software skills. Students will apply all of these skills to create a culminating thesis project that includes a complete product line and an implementation strategy. MFA Graduates will be capable of launching a new product line and applying high-level strategic thinking to hold key positions in global fashion organizations.

In the Work-Integrated Master’s degree in IT Product Development at Aarhus University, you study part-time while working part-time in a company or organisation. This lets you apply design, programming, and system development skills directly to real-world interactive products and digital solutions. After the 4-year programme, you will graduate with both solid work experience and a high-quality master’s degree.

The Master's in Industrial Design Engineering allows students to deepen the training received in the Degrees of Engineering in Industrial Design and Product Development, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering in Industrial Technologies and the Degree in Architecture, with a scientific-technical focus and aimed at the professional practice of Product Engineering. One of the objectives of this Master's is to train specialists with capacities, skills and abilities in research, development and innovation in product design and development as an essential element to ensure the competitiveness of the company, and to be able to understand industrial products as elements of indisputable economic and social value.

The Master of Product Development - Specialisation in Assistive Technology (MASTech) for Prosthetists/Orthotists This programme, with a specialisation in assistive technology, focuses on innovative product development of assistive devices for individuals with disabilities. It requires a combination of medical and engineering knowledge. As such, the program is open to students with backgrounds in prosthetics and orthotics or mechanical engineering.

This Master Course intends to provide the adequate competences required to product optimization and innovation, by following a rather integrating approach in what concerns people, industry, society and environment. It is therefore intended to ensure specific formation in what concerns development and conception of models and products capable of providing adequate answers to demands related to market flexibility, fastness and assertiveness. Moreover, to achieve such objectives, the Course is planned to provide insight and knowledge on two core scientific areas, namely Design and Mechanical Engineering. It should also be mentioned that the latter is completed with a transversal core competence related to Project, where it is intended to consolidate the knowledge acquired within the two mentioned scientific areas, by exploring the synergies among the two thematic areas.
