BSBI, in partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), offers the MA Game Design programme, an 18-month interdisciplinary course designed to elevate students’ skills and knowledge in the evolving interactive entertainment field. This dynamic and immersive master's programme aims to develop expertise in game design and drive innovation, preparing students for the growing demands in the digital games industry.

This MA is tailored for people who want to start a career in the game industry. One of the only programmes in the UK taught by actual game developers, it will teach you game design, art animation, and game programming, and has a strong focus on entrepreneurship and business.

This course focuses on the design skills necessary for the field of game development. You will create and develop computer games both alone and as part of a team. Excellent facilities include Sony PlayStation 4 developer kits and software such as Unity Pro, Unreal and Maya. You will also have access to our new Centre for Virtual and Augmented Reality. There is regular input from industry practitioners, particularly through the games inKUbator, and the chance to participate in Game Jams and Hackathons.

As the only program of its kind in the United States, the Master of Arts in Game Design drives students to stretch their capacities as designers, developers, consumers, and game administrators and apply that to their unique fields of interest.
