Students study topics such as foreign policy, legal structures, and conflict resolution while participating in simulations and applied case work.
Through hands-on partnerships with NGOs, government offices, and multinational corporations, students gain meaningful professional experience that strengthens their career outlook. Alumni move into roles within embassies, global agencies, policy firms, and humanitarian organizations, where they contribute to shaping international affairs.
OPT
Optional Practical Training (OPT) gives F-1 international students the chance to work in the U.S. for up to 12 months after earning their degree—or 36 months for STEM fields. Students who complete their last year at the Tampa campus can take advantage of this opportunity. OPT allows them to build U.S. work experience, expand their professional network, and connect their academic learning to real-world practice.
